The Vanguard Group is the worlds' 2nd biggest invest company, with 7 trillion in assets, founded by John C Bogle in 1975. It is the main shareholder of invest company BlackRock.

It is named after the flagship of mason Horatio Nelson (Order of the Bath, nephew of Robert Walpole, war against Napoleon). Like most of its companies it is a member of the Business Roundtable.
