Thailand

Thailand is a country in Asia, founded in 1238. It has a population of 70 million people. Its capital and largest city is Bangkok. It is a member of the United Nations. With Vietnam, Laos and Burma is it is part of the Golden Triangle drug trade, created by the CIA in the 50's. Its predominant religion is Buddhism.

 

 

History of Thailand

1238 Sukhotai kingdom (Buddhism).

1511 the Portugese reach Thailand.

1614 after the expulsion of the jesuits in Japan, they move to countries like Vietnam.

1765 Burmese invasion.

1767 Thonburi Kingdom.

1782 Rattanakosin kingdom, founding of Bangkok, Chakri dynasty.

1839 The British Empire and the jesuits conquer India and China through the Opium Wars. Opium is traded by the Sassoon family and S&B families like Russell and used to demoralise the Chinese population and make them addicted.

1856 2nd opium war.

1921 founding of CP Group (Charoen Pokphand of Chearavanont family).

1932 Siamese Revolution, creation of constitution and position of prime minister.

1949 Mao Zedong defeats the Kuomintang Army (KMT), who retreat to Burma and Taiwan. The Chinese communists execute drug dealers and force addicts to be treated.

1950 the CIA funds the KMT to fight a guerilla war against communist China and organise the opium-heroin trade in the Golden Triangle zone. During the Vietnam War, the sex tourism industry rises in Thailand.

1953 William Donavan as US ambassador to Thailand.

1963 Thannom Kittikachorn (World Anti-Communist League, papal Order of St Sylvester).

1974 Frank Lucas (The Council, connected to Italian mafia families) spreads heroin from Thailand in Harlem as Blue Magic.

1998 Thaksin Shinawatra (Shin Corporation) founds the Thai Rak Thai Party.

2001 Thaksin Shinawatra as prime minister.

2003 Charoen Sirivadhanabakhdi founds ThaiBev.

2008 jesuit Kasit Piromya as Minister of Foreign Affairs.

2013 Only God Forgives Ryan Gosling.

2014 coup d'├ętat with Prayut Chan-o-cha.

Vajiralongkorn of the Chakri dynasty (30 billion) was educated at Millfield like Lily Allen, Ghislaine Maxwell, Jason Connery and Sophie Dahl.
