She was the daughter of colonel Paul Tate, who worked at the San Presidio army base in San Francisco. She and Polanski were friends of Peter Sellers (dr Strangelove).
In 1967 she appeared in Playboy, with pictures as her character in the Fearless Vampire Killers.
In 1968 she posed with Mia Farrow and Dean Martin at Joshua Tree (Yeshua=Jesus) at Nevada desert where Jack Parsons performed his Babalon Workings, 22 years earlier.
Her name Sharon means 'rose of the valley'=Rosenthal, one of the rosicrucian families who control the Hollywood film industry (she played with Lyova Rosenthal in Valley of the Dolls).
