Samuel MacGregor Mathers

Samuel Liddell MacGregor Mathers was an Irish freemason and rosicrucian of the Scottish MacGregor clan (linked to the House of Bruce, Akhenaten-Moses bloodline), a member of the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn with Aleister Crowley, Societas Risicruciana in Anglia and secret society The Mound Builders (neo-druidism). He was educated at Bedford School. He married Moina Bergson, sister of Henri Bergson (Polish-jewish, Society for Psychical Research, Nobel Prize). He was involved in Irish nationalism (Legitimists, neo-Jacobinism of Stuarts). He translated the Key of Solomon, The Book of Abramelin and Kabbalah Unveiled of Christian Knorr von Rosenroth (agent of the House of Wittelsbach, source text for Sabbathaian kabbala).

The HOGD used the Enochian system of John Dee.

Crowley wrote novel Moonchild with a character based on Mathers, Arthur WaiteIsadora Duncan, Annie Besant,  Leila Waddell, occultists with hq in Paris and England (black and white lodge, inspiration for Twin Peaks with Kyle MacLachlan as Agent Cooper, AC: Antichrist Aleister Crowley).

The HOGD split in different groups like Stella Matutina (Dion Fortune, author of 'Mystical Qabala'), the Alpha et Omega (led by Mathers, referenced in Netflix series the AO), the Isis-Urania Temple (led by A.E. Waite). Crowley founded the Astrum Argentum order, and became the head of the Ordo Templo Orientis of Britain and Ireland in 1912.

Taylor Caldwell (MacGregor) was a member of the John Birch Society.

Scottish actor Ewan McGregor played in Trainspotting, Star Wars, A Life Less Ordinary with Cameron Diaz (Parsons' wife Marjorie Cameron), Angels and Demons (John Dee's Enochian system),..

Marshall Mathers (Eminem) (Peter Rosenberg as manager) was named after him. Dr Dre represents Dr John Dee.

The staged Parsons Green attack (bomb in a Lidl bag) on Harry's birthday was a reference to Jack Parsons, Marjorie Cameron and Samuel Liddell Mathers.
