Salvador Dali

Salvador Dali was a Spanish mind controlled painter- provocateur agent, used in the media industry and the art scene, to promote the art trend Surrealism (based on the theories of Freud and Marx). His brother also named Salvador (born 10/12, date death Crowley) died 9 months before his birth (twinning used in mind control). He was a friend of jesuit Frederico Garcia Lorca (avant-garde group Ultra).

He met with Pablo Picasso in Paris, experimented with Futurism, Dada and Cubism and from 1927 eventually developed a style based on Surrealism, as friend of André Breton. He was made famous through a publicity stunt after a sexually explicit painting at the Barcelona Autumn Salon. Like Adolf Hitler, his moustache became an iconic image.

He collaborated with Luis Bunuel on Un Chien Andolou (famous scene with cutting of an eye), influenced by the first film of Antonin Artaud.

His paintings contained mind control symbolism (butterflies, umbrella's, clocks like Alice in Wonderland). His patron was Edward James (Forbes, educated at Le Rosey), who had mason Eward VII Saxe-Coburg as godfather, and also financed Kurt Weil (friend of Elia Kazan CCF), Picasso, Magritte and Bertholt Brecht. He funded surrealist magazine Minotaure and collaborated with Dali on the Mae West lips sofa.

Elena Diakonova (Gala), Russian ex-wife of Paul Eluard (friend of Picasso) was his wife and muse, played the archetype of Whore of Babylon (Lust). She died the month of birth William V.

He gave lectures on Surrealism at the Modern Museum of Art in NY.

In 1938 he participated in an exhibition of Marcel Duchamp and André Breton in Paris and met Sigmund Freud. His work became more and more commercialised and Dali played the role of flamboyant, eccentric media figure with publicity stunts to draw attention, similar to Andy Warhol.

In 1945 he collaborated with Walt Disney and Alfred Hitchcock (who made movies with Grace Kelly) for movie Spellbound. He used a four-dimensional cube (tesseract) in a crucifiction painting.

He was a guest of the surrealist themed parties of Guy de Rothschild at Chateau Ferrières with Grace Kelly, Brigitte Bardot (9/28 like death Breton), Alexis von Rosenberg-Rédé (Le Rosey), Audrey Hepburn. The masked ball represents Shakespeare's The Tempest play of the Frederick V and Elizabeth wedding, the black and white ball of Truman Capote in 1966 (2 months after death Breton), inspiration for Stanley Kubrick's Eyes Wide Shut.

He visited Studio 54. Alejandro Jodorowsky planned casting Dali for his movie Dune, later finished by David Lynch.

He was interviewed by Mike Wallace (Zeta Beta Tau) for 60 Minutes on CBS.

On his deathbed he was visited by Knight of Malta Juan Carlos.

He was portrayed by Robert Pattinson in Little Ashes (2008) Adrien Brody in Midnight in Paris (2011) of Woody Allen.
