He was consultant of the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Maryland, used as a programming center (mentioned in Cathy O'Brien's Trance Formation of America and The Illuminati Formula).
He was advisor to Walter Cronkite and CBS news. Cronkite was a member of Phi Chi (fasces symbol of fascism) like Thomas Keith Glennan of NASA.
Other participants in the moon landing ritual were Robert Heinlein (meetings with Jack Parsons), Isaac Asimov and Arthur C Clarke.
He supposedly convinced Gerald Ford to name NASA space shuttle the Enterprise after Star Trek (used in mind control) and started The Enterprise Mission initiative.
At the Hayden Planetarium in NY of Neil deGrasse Tyson, he worked with jesuit Margaret Mead (Tavistock, married to Gregory Bateson, involved in MK Ultra). It was used in K-Pax and is part of the American Museum of Natural History, operated by the Guggenheims who also funded Robert Goddard.
He was the mentor of David Wilcock, who promoted the channelings of the Ra material and played a role in the Jeffrey Epstein psyop, the Pizzagate psyop, and its sequel the Qanon psyop. They appeared together on the Art Bell Show and Coast to Coast.
In 1993 jesuit trained Tom Van Flandern focused on the 'face on Mars' in his book Dark Matter, Missing Planets and New Comets.
In 1995 Carl Sagan 'debunked' Hoagland's face on Mars theory in The Demon-Haunted World.
In 1999 Graham Hancock wrote The Mars Mystery with Robert Bouval.

In 2007 he wrote Dark Mission The Secret History of NASA with Mike Bara (Boeing), mixing facts about NASA occult-masonic rituals (with 33 symbolism) with fiction. He was ridiculed by Discover magazine of Time. Mike Bara appeared on Coast to Coast, Ancient Aliens, Uncovering Aliens of Discovery.
