Motown

Motown Records was a label of the music industry, named after Detroit (nicknamed Motor Town), founded in 1959 by Berry Gordy Jr (related to Jimmy Carter), that used mind controlled singers in the cultural marxist program pop culture.

The typical Motown sound was developed by producer team Lamont Dozier, Brian and Eddie Holland.

Marvin Gaye and The Supremes played in TAMI Show (1964) of Samuel Arkoff's AIP with Jan and Deen, The Beach Boys and The Rolling Stones. After the Watts riots of 1965 and assassination of MLK, Marvin Gaye was used as priest in the Black Church (image of social conscious, illusion of protest and freedom of speech). He married Berry Gordy's sister Anna Gordy.

Motown worked with United Artists Records and Chess Records of Phil and Leonard Chess.
It collaborated with the Hollywood film industry and produced Lady Sings the Blues with Diana Ross as Ella Fitzgerald, with Billy Dee Williams, Richard Pryor, Scatman Crothers, The Wiz (Wizard of Oz programming) and The Last Dragon with Vanity (associated with Prince).

In the 70's Motown producer Norman Whitfield helped popularising the Disco trend.

Motown was bought in 1988 by MCA, by Polygram in 1993, absorbed into Universal Music Group in 1998, from 2011 part of Def Jam Island, in 2014 under Capitol Records (Capitol Tower in LA).
