In 2001 they recorded 'the Presidio album' at the Presidio army base where the father of Sharon Tate and satanist Michael Aquino worked.
Robert Trujillo played in the band of satanist Ozzy Osbourne.
Metallica participated in the Live Earth concerts (the Climate Church) of Kevin Wall and David Mayer Rothschild, son of financial advisor of Queen Elisabeth II, with acts like Alicia Keys, Kanye West, etc..
In 2008 they played at Ozzfest with Ozzy Osbourne.
