Kenya

Kenya is a country in Africa, founded in 1965, with a population of 47,6 million people (majority of Christians) and Nairobi as capital and largest city. It is a member of the United Nations. It is ruled by the Jesuits.

 

History of Kenya

1000 bc San people.

500 bc Nilotic tribes.

100 Swahili states.

200 Bantu people. Shona people.

1500 the Portugese colonise Kenya.

1600s the Omani Arabs conquer Kenya.

1888 British Empire conquers Kenya.

1952 king George dies, Elizabeth II returns from Kenya. Mau Mau rebellion.

1961 Kenyan Barack Obama Sr marries Stanley Dunham, who gives birth to Barack Obama.

1963 independence from the UK. Malcolm MacDonald as president.

1964 Jomo Kenyatta (educated LSE of Fabian Society, new style of imperialism, related to Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine).

1970 Bhimji Depar Shah founds Bidco Africa (Vimal Shah as chairman).

1984 discovery of Turkana Boy, classified as 1, 6 million year old Home Ergaster (invention of the Science Church). The jesuits establish Hekima University.

2010 William proposes to Catherine in Kenya.
