Green Man
| The Green Man
is the personification of Orion (the Fool, the Joker), nature reborn in spring -regeneration of the Tree of Life, worshiped by the Aryans. In Egypt the Green Man became Osiris and Geb, in Greece Pan, in Christianity of the Catholic Church Jesus and St Patrick with clover (symbol of trinity, letter Shin), in Islam Alkhidr and Kitab Al-bulhan. Green is the color of nature and the heart chakra (Taurus earth sign, Silver Gate) and sphere Netzach (Venus) but also of putrefaction (Osiris is god of the dead and underworld, in alchemy the green lion- vitriol swallows the sun). |

The Green Man was depicted on doors with a Saturnian ring (a knocker).
In the 1400s the Green Man became folklore legend Robin Hood Prince of Thieves (Mercury the trickster, patron of thieves). Michelangelo made a depiction of the Green Man as Florentine Man.
