Genesis P-Orridge (Neil Andrew Megson) was a British mind controlled musician and propaganda - provocateur agent, used in the media industry, the program Punk Rock and the art scene to normalise the gay-transgender and pedophilia religion of Aleister Crowley. He married BDSM dominatrix Paula Brookings who played in his band Psychic TV. She was associated with Industrial Records, which worked with Chris Carter, Monte Cazazza and William Burroughs. He was trained at Solihull School in Warwickshire (Richard Hammond, Miles Ratledge of Napalm Death, Richie Neville of Five). |

In 1968 he joined the Transmedia Explorations commune.
In 1969 he founded COUM Transmissions with Cosey Fanni Tutti (Christine Newby) and organised events like the Clockwork Hot Spoiled Acid Test, a reference to Anthony Burgess' A Clockwork Orange (orange=33=sodomy) and Tom Wolfe's The Electric Kool Aid Acid Test about Ken Kesey's Merry Pranksters.
He made propaganda with the BBC (pedophile John Peel, Top of the Pops with Jimmy Savile and Jonathan King).
In London he worked with Beatniks William Burroughs and Brion Gysin (Surrealist Group of Salvador Dali, Pablo Picasso, friend of Brian Jones of The Rolling Stones). He was influenced by Austin Osman Spare (Crowley's A.A.).
In 1975 he founded industrial music collective Throbbing Gristle with Chris Carter, Peter Christopherson, Cosey Fanni Tutti. Peter Christopherson played a role in program Punk Rock (Sex Pistols, Sex boutique of Malcolm McLaren) and worked with Pink Floyd, Peter Gabriel and Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails (lived at the house of Sharon Tate). Chris Carter worked with Boyd Rice (Anton LaVey's Church of Satan), Annie Lennox and Current 93 (most important nr in Thelema). Like the Church of Satan they glorified Antichrist figure Charles Manson.
He used pornography and imagery of the Holocaust to shock and cause controversy and worked with the Viennese Actionists of Austria. His Prostitution event was given extra publicity by the BBC with COUM as the wreckers as civilisation (Nicolas Fairbairn as conservative nemesis of the Right Wing Church).
The Sunday People branded him as 'the sickest man in Britain', similar to Crowley's media image of the Wickedest Man in the World.
In 1981 he founded Psychic TV, which collaborated with William Burroughs, John Giorno (Andy Warhol's Sleep), with William Breeze of OTO and with Anton LaVey on the song Joy. Alex Ferguson of Psychic TV worked with band Orange Juice (orange=33=sodomy).
The same year he founded the Thee Temple ov Psychick Youth with members of Process Church of Last Judgement (offshoot of Ron Hubbard's Scientology, promoted by Mick Jagger and Marianne Faithfull). It promoted body modification, sex magic and pedophilia.
In 1993 he moved to NY and started a body modication project with his wife. He collaborated with band Pigface (Trent Reznor, Flea of RHCP, Jello Biafra), Gibby Haynes (Butthole Surfers, CIA experiments of Timothy Leary).
He participated in an interview about Crowley with Richard Metzinger (The Disinformation Company, books of Alex Jones) and Robert Anton Wilson , the documentary Better Living Through Circuitry with Carl Cox, Moby, documentary William S Burroughs: A Man Within, movie The Raspberry Reich (named after Wilhelm Reich) of Bruce LaBruce.
In 1994 Channel 4 used his First Transmission in its show Dispatches about satanic ritual abuse (Satanic Panic).
In 2020 BBC produced propaganda movie Other, Like Me: The Oral History of COUM Transmissions and Throbbing Gristle.
