Enochian

The Enochian system is a cryptographic system of magic/occultism with a language and alphabet, developed in the 1580s by British occultist-rosicrucian and secret service agent John Dee and Edward Kelley, to communicate with 'angels'. Dee was hired by the Cecils to play a role in the Scientific Revolution and imperialist agenda of the Protestant Church. It was named after the Book of Enoch (in the bible Enoch is the son of Jared and Methuselah) about the Nephilim giants. |

Quadrants are used in the computation and divination system of Ramon Lull.
The Great Table (wax seal with 7 pointed star, the Seal of Truth with pentagram in the middle) was derived from the medieval grimmoire (=grammar) Liber Juratus, used in necromancy and multialphabetic cryptographic cyphers. Jesuit Athanasius Kircher also made a version of the Seal of Truth.
The 30 Aethyrs or Enochian Calls form a circle. The Elemental Tables have 4 quadrants with truncated pyramids and watchtowers with 4 colors corresponding with 4 elements (yellow-air, green-earth, blue-water, red-fire).
The Kabbalistic concept of meditations as 50 gates of Tree of Life, is mentioned in the Talmud as Temple of Binah. The last gate is reserved for Messiah (Antichrist) of the Endtimes (Book of Revelation).
In Enochian Magic 18 keys are recited to open the elements and 19th call to open the 30 aethyrs, pictured as concentric rings in a circle, from 30 TEX to 1 LIL. Each aethyr has 3 governors and a sigil. 12x 13 grid = nr 156. 24 elders as mentioned in Book of Revelation.
Enochian characters are placed in a grid of 8x8= 64 codons of DNA, 64 hexagrams of the I-Ching (Taoist divination) of 88 letters (nr of Mercury, orbit of 88 days). The script is written from right to left.
Dee was educated at Trinity College Cambridge and Christ's College Manchester, and worked in London under William Cecil, spymaster Francis Walsingham and Queen Elizabeth I. He saw himself as the new Merlin, Elizabeth as Arthur, rebuilding Atlantis in the New World as the British Empire.
He claimed Enochian was an antediluvian language (The Book of Enoch describes how the Watchers, the Fallen Angels, Lucifer descended on Mount Hermon, 33d parallel). Dee had a copy of the Ethiopian Book of Enoch through French linguist and kabbalist Guillaume Postel, a friend of Ignatius of Loyola, who founded the jesuit order.
He practiced the dark art of geomancy, divination through sand (silicon is also a form of sand). The other dark arts in Renaissance magic were divination techniques necromancy, hydromancy, pyromancy, aeromancy, scapulimancy. Edward Bulwer-Lytton, Theosophist Franz Hartmann and Aleister Crowley published texts on geomancy.
In 1564 he wrote Monas Hieroglyphica (cult of Mercury/Hermes), in 1568 On The Mystical Rule of the Seven Planets.
He visited Stephan Bathory (married to Anna Jagiellon, daughter of Bona Sforza) in Poland and Rudolf II Habsburg and the Rosenbergs in Bohemia. Dee's journals were bought by Elias Ashmole (Grand Lodge of London).
John Wilkins, founder of the Royal Society wrote Mercury or the Secret and Swift Messenger about cryptography. The Royal Society ushered in the Scientific and the Industrial Revolution.
A few years after his death, Shakespeare's The Tempest was performed at the rosicrucian wedding of Frederick V and Elizabeth Stuart, with character Prospero (the role of Mercury the Magician), based on Dee. The wedding which resulted in the birth of Moonchild George I. The British Museum holds his black Aztec mirror, crystal ball and wax seals.
Followers of the Mormon Church believed Enoch was the founder of holy city Zion and Joseph Smith also used shew stones to communicate with 'angels'. The Scottish Rite of masonry contains rituals that refer to Enoch.
Mason Charles Taze Russell founded the Jehova's Witnesses cult with the Watchtower Society, practicing Enochian magic.
Aleister Crowley was trained by the Cecils to join the Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn (cult of Hermes/Mercury) become the new John Dee. With Victor Neuburg he performed sodomy rituals in the desert of Algeria with the 30 Aethyrs of the Enochian system and wrote The Vision and the Voice. The 7 pointed star became associated with Babalon (in numerology 156=12 x 13 grid). Florence Farr of the HOGD was a friend of Ezra Pound and Oscar Wilde. The HOGD also developed Enochian chess.
Crowley was in contact with the Fraternitas Saturni. Albin Grau of the FS used Enochian symbols in UFA movie Nosferatu, based on Bram Stoker's Dracula and died at Buchenwald.
HP Lovecraft's Necronomicon is based on Dee's Book of Enoch.
Alan Turing worked at a MI6 cryptography project with the Rothschilds at Bletchley Park.
Jack Parsons and Ron Hubbard used the Enochian system in the Babalon Working to summon Babalon (symbol of 7-pointed star like Seal of Truth).
