David Rubenstein

David Rubenstein is a jewish business man who co-founded The Carlyle Group with Daniel D'Aniello and William Conway Jr, was chairman of the Alfalfa Club, Smithsonian Institution and chairman of the Council of Foreign Relations. He is on the board of Harvard University. He was educated at Duke University and University of Chicago (Phi Beta Kappa).

He was an advisor of Jimmy Carter.

He is associated with Johns Hopkins University (S&B), The Economic Club of Washington DC, American Philosophical Society, Bill Gates' The Giving Pledge, Brookings, the WEF and Bloomberg New Economy Forum (with Eyal and Idan Ofer, Gary Cohn and Mukesh Ambani). He is a member of the Business Council (Barry Diller, Averell Harriman, Jeff Bezos, Stephen Bechtel).

He works for Bloomberg Television of Michael Bloomberg.

His wife Alice Rogoff (Dalton School) is a friend of Barack Obama and worked at the Washington Post with Katharine Graham's Donald Graham (Facebook, grandson of Eugene Meyer of Federal Reserve and World Bank, The Washington Post).
