| Chaos is the state of disorder. In most matter the atoms are structured chaotically. In mythology primordial gods were gods of chaos (mad scientists of Atlantis experimenting with forbidden knowledge). In Egypt Typhon and Set speared Apep-Apophis the chaos serpent. In Greece the war between the giants was called the Gigantomachia (motive of the chaos kampf, slayer of the dragon). Chaos represented the Abyss.
