Brothers Grimm
Jacob and Wilhelm Grimm (Brothers Grimm) were German writers and freemasons, who were raised as Lutheran in Hesse-Kassel and compiled folk stories with astrological and kabbalistic symbolism in Grimm's Fairy Tales (Rapunzel, The Frog Prince, Hansel and Gretel, Mother Holle, Snow White, Rumplestiltskin, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood) during the Romanticism and cultural nationalism trend and Napoleonic Wars. Jacob=Jack, brothers Jacob and Esau. They were educated at Humboldt University of Berlin. |
Jacob wrote a book about Teutonic mythology. They were influenced by Johann Gotfried Herder (Enlightenment, Sturm und Drang with Johann von Goethe, theory of Aryan race) and worked at the University of Göttingen.
Jacob was operated under hypnosis (trance and spells are a reoccurring theme in their tales).
The fairy tales were used by Walt Disney and the Nazi Party of Adolf Hitler.
In 1937 Disney produced Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs with Adriana Caselotti, Harry Stockwell (prince Harry), Lucille La Verne and Moroni Olsen (Mormon Church). Snow White was based on the legend of Apollo and Chione.
MGM released The Wonderful World of the Brothers Grimm with Laurence Harvey and Yvette Mimieux.
The Brothers Grimm are villains in the comics of Marvel Comics.
In 2005 Terry Gilliam directed movie The Brothers Grimm with Matt Damon, Heath Ledger (symbolism of brothers William and Harry), Jonathan Pryce, Lena Heady and Monica Bellucci.
