Amalantrah Working
| The Amalantrah Working was a magic ritual of opening a dimensional portal in 1918 from january to 6/16 of Aleister Crowley and Roddie Minor, near Central Park (symbol of the heart portal) in New York. Roddie Minor received visions under influence of hasjisj and opium of entities introducing themselves as Amalantrah and using egg symbolism. Eventually they contacted the entity Lam, pictured as a Grey alien in Helena Blavatsky's The Voice of Silence, shown in an exhibition in Greenwich Village. The contact was transcribed in Liber 729 (Amalantrah in Hebrew gematria: 729). Ame: soul. Alma is the dark mother Binah (Saturn), the dark side, yang of principles yin and yang. Alma in gematria: 27 (9 red, 81 rev). During contact the phrase 'blue bird of happiness' was used. Kenneth Grant expanded on the Lam mythology with the Lam Statement (explaining how to contact the entity through mentally focusing on Lam) and discussed the ritual in The Magic Revival in 1972. |

The milkyway, the female energy of the universe is seen as the universal womb, the river of souls. The female egg cycle is timed to the monthly cycle of the moon. Eggs have a phi to 1 ratio (shape of tears, pine cones,..).
In 1904 Crowley had written the Book of the Law (Liber AL) channeled by entity Aiwass, start of the religion Thelema (Do What Thou Willt shall be the Whole of the Law, distortion of the Law of One). He was trained to play the role of new John Dee who used a heptagon (seven pointed star) as the Seal of God in his Enochian divination-cryptography system.
In 1909 Crowley experimented with Enochian sex magic with Victor Neuburg in the desert of Algeria and wrote The Vision and the Voice.

Babalon has 3 aspects: the Great Mother (Binah), the Gateway to the City of Pyramids (Da'ath) and the Scarlet Woman. Babalon is seen as a doorway or dimensional portal (the Empress Hebrew letter Daleth: door, vulva symbolism in 2001 ASO, etc). Initiates pour their essence in the Cup of Babalon to cross the Abyss, to enter the sphere of Binah (ruled by Saturn) and be reborn as Babes or Nemo.
